Exploring Remediation Strategies of Mathematics Teachers of Junior High School in Tagoloan District
Abstract:
This qualitative research is to investigate the influence that remediation tactics on mathematics education, with a particular emphasis on the effectiveness of these strategies in terms of boosting academic achievement, increasing student engagement, lowering anxiety, and training students to solve problems. Through the utilization of qualitative research techniques, narrative approach insights were gained from teachers and principals, underlining the significance of tailored teaching, continuous feedback, and learning settings that are friendly and encouraging. In addition, the incorporation of interactive approaches, such as math games and technology, as well as the engagement of parents, emerged as essential components in the accomplishment of the remedial efforts. The findings of this study highlight the importance of teachers engaging in ongoing professional development, fostering collaborative efforts within schools, and centering their teaching practices on the needs of their students. To maximize remediation procedures and improve educational results in mathematics, recommendations are made for the Department of Education, school administrators, teachers, students, and future researchers. These recommendations are intended to improve educational outcome.
